Star Entertainment

The Star Entertainment Group is an ASX-listed Australian integrated-resort and entertainment group whose separation from Tabcorp was implemented on 15 June 2011. Its current portfolio is concentrated in Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane: the group owns and operates The Star Sydney and The Star Gold Coast, operates The Star Brisbane at Queen's Wharf Brisbane, and manages the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre for the Queensland Government. The hospitality positioning is closer to luxury/five-star integrated resort than midscale: official property pages describe luxury accommodation at The Star Sydney, the five-star The Star Grand Brisbane, and a five-star luxury-lifestyle Andaz hotel planned for The Star Gold Coast expansion. The group’s 2025 annual report says it operates customer loyalty programs that allow customers to accumulate award credits for on-property spend; I did not find an official public source naming a hotel-style loyalty program.
