Royal Holdings
Royal Holdings is a Japan-based foodservice and hospitality group founded in April 1950 and reorganized as ROYAL HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. in July 2005. Its hotel business is run by RNT Hotels, which operates Richmond Hotels and other properties across Japan. Richmond Hotels was established in 2004 and is described by RNT as a 43-property nationwide chain serving both business and leisure travel; official positioning emphasizes spacious rooms, facilities and universal design rather than luxury-hotel branding. RNT also operates THE BASEMENT, a lifestyle-hotel brand announced in April 2025. The loyalty program is Richmond Club, with free web enrollment, points on stays and benefits such as point redemption and late checkout under published rules.
