Minor Hotels is a Thailand-born hotel owner, operator and investor that opened its first hotel in Thailand in 1979 and launched its luxury flagship brand, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, in 2001. Today the group reports more than 560 hotels and resorts across six continents. Its official portfolio is tiered from Luxury to Premium and Select: Anantara, Elewana, The Wolseley Hotels, Tivoli and Minor Reserve Collection sit in Luxury; NH Collection, nhow, Avani and Colbert Collection are positioned as Premium; and NH, Oaks and iStay Hotels are listed as Select. The tracked brands therefore cover several core parts of the group, spanning resort-led luxury, urban premium hotels, design-led stays and serviced apartment-style accommodation. Minor Hotels runs Minor DISCOVERY as its loyalty programme; the programme is part of GHA DISCOVERY, giving recognition across Minor Hotels and the Global Hotel Alliance network.
