Millennium Hotels

Millennium Hotels and Resorts traces its modern hotel platform to King’s Hotel in Singapore, which opened in 1970, and to CDL Hotels International, which acquired its first six Asian hotels in 1989. In 1995, CDL acquired Copthorne Hotels and launched Millennium Hotels and Resorts as a global hotel brand. The group’s official site describes today’s footprint as hotels across four continents and 80 destinations. Its portfolio is broader than the single tracked brand name suggests: The Biltmore and Grand Millennium sit at the luxury or premium end, Millennium and M Hotel cover full-service city and business travel, M Social and Studio M are positioned as lifestyle concepts, and Copthorne and Kingsgate emphasize comfortable, value-oriented stays. The group’s own loyalty programme is MyMillennium, where members earn and redeem MyPoints across eligible hotel and dining activity.
