JA Resorts & Hotels is a Dubai-born hospitality group that says it was founded in 1981, originally operating under Dutco Hotels. Its first two resort landmarks were Jebel Ali Beach Hotel and Hatta Fort Hotel, both opened that year. Today the group operates nine properties across three countries: the United Arab Emirates, the Maldives and the United Kingdom, with an official positioning around five-star resorts and hotels rather than midscale lodging. Its portfolio spans beachfront resorts, city hotels, mountain escapes, an integrated resort destination, a Maldives island retreat and heritage-led hotels in Scotland. The group’s loyalty programme is JA DISCOVERY, which is presented as part of the wider GHA DISCOVERY network, using DISCOVERY Dollars and member benefits across JA properties and participating GHA hotels.
