EVT is the hotels and resorts arm of Australia-based EVT Limited, a group whose stated history begins in 1910 and whose entry into the hotel business came in 1980 through the acquisition of the Noah's and Hospitality Inn hotel chains in Australia and New Zealand. EVT says its hotel portfolio operates across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, with 80+ hotels, 12,000+ rooms and about 1.8 million loyalty members. The group spans a broad positioning range, described by EVT as “from luxury to micro-accommodation”: QT sits in its luxury/lifestyle space, Rydges in an elevated city, suburban and resort segment, Atura in urban mid-market lifestyle hotels, LyLo in budget lifestyle accommodation, and Independent Collection by EVT gathers individually branded hotels across Australia and New Zealand. EVT’s loyalty platform is EVT Stays, which the company says replaced Priority Guest Rewards.
