Ormoc

Ormoc City serves as the economic, cultural, and transportation hub of western Leyte in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines. As an independent component city, it operates separately from the provincial government, though it remains statistically grouped with Leyte. With a population of over 238,000, it is the second most populous city in the province, trailing only Tacloban.
