Bib Gourmand 1

Zum Rebstock

Bib Gourmand€€Country cooking

A fun place to eat! This handsome historical half-timbered house has been in the same family since 1750. Sit back in the delightful wood-panelled interior as the cordial front-of-house team brings out really good Baden cuisine, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace in summer. The menu includes dishes such as pikeperch-salmon dumplings, and stuffed guinea fowl breast with a chive cream sauce to whet your appetite. Tip: Sample the tempting little starters and desserts (look for the "Versucherle" sections on the menu)! With some 500 labels, the wine list is excellent. To take home: house-made

Springbrunnen SKLENAR

€€€Regional Cuisine, Spanish

After almost 30 years in Mallorca, Czech-born Martin Sklenar and his wife Lucie swapped the Balearic island for the vineyards of Oberkirch. In their restaurant, they propose an interesting blend of regional (Baden), Mallorcan and Bohemian-inspired cuisine. This is served in a cosy interior with a slightly rustic feel, or out on the wonderful terrace known as the Weinberggarten. There is also a vegetarian/vegan set menu. The ingredient-led dishes can be accompanied by your choice of wine from a predominantly regional selection.

TripAdvisor review sample · 4.6/5 · 80 reviews

Rebstock, located in Durbach's vineyards, offers country-style farm-to-table cuisine. Most guests praise the high food quality, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere, highlighting the beautiful garden, terrace, and generous breakfast. Amenities like the heated pool receive positive mentions. However, negative reviews cite inconsistent service, including rude staff, incorrect orders served cold, and bland dishes. Some guests complained about being charged for tap water and restricted terrace access in the afternoon. While a few found the value questionable due to these issues, the majority report a comfortable and enjoyable stay, making it a solid choice for relaxation despite occasional operational hiccups.

Ideal for travelers seeking a tranquil vineyard setting and high-quality country cuisine, though verifying service details beforehand is advisable.
