Where to Base
There are no large hotel districts within Narusawa itself; accommodations are primarily small guesthouses or minshuku. For better convenience and variety, it is recommended to base yourself in nearby areas such as Fuji-san Goko-me or Kawaguchiko, which offer more extensive lodging options and easier access to transportation hubs.
Getting Around
There is no direct airport connection. The nearest major transport hubs are located in other parts of Yamanashi Prefecture. Access to Narusawa typically requires bus services or rental cars. Public transportation schedules can be infrequent, so renting a car is often the most flexible and efficient way to explore the village and its surroundings.
Best Season
The village is accessible year-round, but spring and autumn offer mild weather ideal for outdoor activities. Summer provides a cool retreat from the heat, while winter showcases beautiful snowscapes. Be prepared for variable mountain weather and pack appropriate warm clothing, especially during colder months.
