From the airport
Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is the main gateway, about 28-30 km north of Hoi An. Best first-arrival options are prebooked hotel/private transfer, taxi, or Grab, usually 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. Shared shuttle/minibus services can take about 60-90 minutes with stops. Chu Lai (VCL) is a secondary option about 70-75 km south, roughly 90-120 minutes by car. There is no train or metro into Hoi An; Da Nang railway station still requires a road transfer.
