There is no local airport. Travelers typically arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, the journey to Ba Ria is conducted via land transport along National Route 51. The drive generally takes between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions near the bridge crossings.
Best Season to Visit
The dry season, from December to April, offers the most favorable conditions for travel, with lower rainfall ensuring smoother transit across the Co May Bridge. The rainy season, spanning May to November, may bring frequent showers that could impact road travel times and comfort when exploring the region or heading towards Vung Tau.
