Eurico de Aguiar Salles Airport VIXSBVT

Eurico de Aguiar Salles Airport (VIX) is Vitória’s main airport and the principal passenger gateway for Espírito Santo, about 10 km from central Vitória. It is not a major global hub or alliance hub; some references describe it as a GOL focus city, while the airport’s own airline page lists regular service by Azul, GOL and LATAM. Despite the “International” name and international/cargo capability, the passenger experience is mainly domestic and regional within Brazil. The airport uses a single modern passenger terminal, so transfers are straightforward and there is no terminal-to-terminal shuttle to plan around. For most frequent flyers, taxi or ride-hailing is the simplest city transfer, normally around 15–25 minutes depending on traffic; Transcol buses also serve the airport but are less convenient with bags or tight schedules.
