Tunis-Carthage International Airport TUNDTTA
Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN) is the main airport for Tunisia’s capital, about 8 km northeast of central Tunis. It is the home base/hub for Tunisair, Tunisair Express and Nouvelair, with a network that is strongest across Tunisia, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and parts of West Africa. Treat it as a regional international gateway rather than a large global-alliance megahub: Star Alliance, SkyTeam and oneworld carriers serve TUN, but there is no major alliance flagship hub operation here. The airport is compact, yet immigration, security and baggage processes can be slower at peaks, so protected airline connections are much easier than self-transfers.
