Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) is The Bahamas’ main international gateway, about 16 km / 10 miles west of downtown Nassau. It is important for U.S., Canadian, U.K., Caribbean and inter-island flying, but it is not a major global alliance hub in the way Miami, Atlanta or London Heathrow are.
