Manuel Crescencio Rejon International Airport MIDMMMD
Manuel Crescencio Rejon International Airport (MID) is Merida’s main airport and the principal air gateway for Yucatan. It is operated by ASUR and is not a major global alliance hub; think compact regional/international airport rather than a connecting megahub. Viva has a meaningful presence here, while Aeromexico, American, United and other carriers link MID with Mexico City-area airports, Mexican regional points and selected U.S./nearby international gateways. Domestic and international passengers use one main terminal, so navigation is simple, but international-to-domestic or self-connect itineraries still require the normal arrival formalities, baggage handling and security reclearance.
