Macau International Airport MFMVMMC

Macau International Airport (MFM) is a compact regional international gateway on Taipa, useful for Macau, Cotai and some Greater Bay Area trips rather than a major intercontinental hub. Air Macau is the home-base carrier, with a wider mix of mainland Chinese, Taiwan, Korean, Japanese and Southeast Asian airlines; there is no dominant global-alliance fortress hub or flagship alliance lounge scene. The airport works well for simple same-ticket regional connections because the passenger terminal is small, but self-connections should be treated cautiously because Macau is a separate immigration and customs territory. For central Macau, a taxi is usually the simplest door-to-door option, while buses, hotel shuttles and the LRT are better when they match your exact destination.
