Moi International Airport MBAHKMO

Moi International Airport (MBA) is Mombasa’s main airport and the practical air gateway to Kenya’s coast. It is not a major global connecting hub: most passengers are starting or ending coastal trips, with domestic links to Nairobi and regional/longer international services to points such as Addis Ababa, Dubai and European leisure markets depending on season and airline schedules. Kenya Airways is a SkyTeam carrier and uses Mombasa as an important domestic point rather than its main hub; Jambojet and other Kenyan operators are prominent, while Mombasa Air Safari is locally based for safari/coastal flying. The airport is compact, so it is generally easier to navigate than Nairobi, but facilities and airside options are more limited.
