Lyon-Saint-Exupery Airport LYSLFLL

Lyon-Saint-Exupery (LYS) is the main international airport for Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, but it is not a mega-hub on the scale of Paris CDG. Think of it as a strong regional airport with European, leisure, North African and Middle Eastern reach, plus selected long-haul service. Air France is the key network carrier and uses Lyon as a regional focus/hub, while easyJet and Transavia are major low-cost/leisure operators. For alliance flyers, SkyTeam presence is mainly through Air France; Star Alliance and other full-service carriers operate here, but LYS is not their hub.
