Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) is Kingston’s main international airport, on the Palisadoes peninsula south of the city. The airport describes itself as Jamaica’s primary business-travel and air-cargo gateway and says it is about 20 minutes from Kingston’s business centre. For frequent flyers, think of KIN as a compact Caribbean capital airport rather than a big global connecting hub: Caribbean Airlines is the main hub/focus carrier presence, while American, JetBlue, Delta, British Airways, Copa, Air Canada/WestJet and regional carriers provide links to North America, the Caribbean, Panama and London. It is not a major oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance hub, and there is no big alliance flagship lounge scene.
