Ibiza Airport IBZLEIB

Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is the main airport for Ibiza and Formentera, about 7.5 km from Ibiza Town. It is not a major alliance hub and has no dominant global-alliance hub carrier; think of it as a compact, tourism-led Aena airport with year-round domestic and Balearic links such as Madrid, Barcelona and Palma, plus a much larger summer network across Europe. Aena lists a broad mix of carriers, including Iberia-group, Vueling, Ryanair, easyJet, British Airways, Lufthansa-group, KLM, Air France, TAP and leisure airlines. The passenger setup is simple: one main terminal, with Schengen and non-Schengen processing inside the same building, so “terminal transfer” is usually just walking within the terminal and following the screens. For the city, a taxi from the signed rank is usually the easiest choice with luggage, while AERO3 is the direct city bus option. IBZ is manageable for short stops, but it is not built like a connection hub: allow extra buffer for self-connects, summer security queues, passport control and remote-stand boarding.
