Hefei Xinqiao International Airport (HFE) is the main airport for Hefei, Anhui’s provincial capital. It opened in 2013, replacing the former Hefei Luogang airport and inheriting the HFE code. Treat it as a regional gateway and domestic trunk-route airport rather than a mega-hub: China Eastern and West Air have a notable presence, but HFE is not a major global alliance hub.
