Hohhot Baita International Airport HETZBHH

Hohhot Baita International Airport (HET) is Inner Mongolia’s key airport and a useful regional connector, but it is not a major global hub on the scale of Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou. Tianjin Airlines treats Hohhot as a secondary hub, Genghis Khan Airlines is based at the airport, and Air China has a strong local presence through its Inner Mongolia operation, giving Star Alliance flyers some network relevance even though HET itself is mainly domestic and regional. International and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan-style flying is comparatively limited. A new Hohhot Shengle International Airport is planned to replace Baita, so travelers should verify that their ticket still uses Baita/HET before departure.
