Douala International Airport DLAFKKD

Douala International Airport (DLA) is the main air gateway for Cameroon’s commercial capital and an important base for Camair-Co. It is not a Star Alliance, SkyTeam or oneworld hub, but alliance airlines do serve it, including carriers such as Air France, Brussels Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Royal Air Maroc alongside African regional operators. The airport is close to central Douala, about 8 km from the city centre, and works best as a compact origin/destination or regional connection airport rather than a polished global transfer hub. Facilities are functional, with renovation work planned or under way around the passenger terminal, so frequent flyers should build in extra time for queues, document checks and baggage processes.
