Cox's Bazar Airport CXBVGCB

Cox's Bazar Airport (CXB) is best understood as a small leisure gateway for Bangladesh's main beach resort, not a major hub. Public sources and airline listings point to mainly domestic service, especially links with Dhaka, with Bangladeshi carriers such as Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla, Novoair and Air Astra appearing in route coverage. Some sources use “international” because of upgrade plans and a short-lived 2025 designation, but reports also say that designation was suspended before international services began, so do not plan CXB like a full international transfer airport. There is no oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam hub presence here, and premium-ground infrastructure appears limited compared with Dhaka.
