Cadjehoun Airport COODBBB
Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport (COO), formally Bernardin Gantin Airport, is Benin’s main international air gateway, set in the Cadjehoun area on the west side of Cotonou, roughly 5–6 km from the city centre. It is not a major global-alliance hub: think regional West/Central African links plus key services by carriers such as Air France, Brussels Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Ethiopian/ASKY-linked networks, Royal Air Maroc, RwandAir and other African operators, rather than a banked mega-hub. The airport is compact, with a single passenger-terminal setup and a practical but limited transit environment, so frequent flyers should plan connections conservatively, especially if bags, immigration or separate tickets are involved.
Timezone: Africa/Porto-Novo
