Chiang Mai International Airport CNXVTCC
Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) is northern Thailand’s key gateway rather than a large alliance hub. It has strong domestic links to Bangkok and Thai leisure/business cities, plus regional international service across East and Southeast Asia. Thai AirAsia, Nok Air and Bangkok Airways use Chiang Mai as an operating base, but CNX is not a major Star Alliance, oneworld or SkyTeam connecting hub. The airport is compact, close to the city, and easy for point-to-point travel; for self-connects, especially international-to-domestic or domestic-to-international, build in time for immigration, baggage reclaim, check-in and security.
