Calicut International Airport (CCJ), also known as Kozhikode/Karipur Airport, is a practical regional-international airport for northern Kerala rather than a major global hub. It is not a oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam hub; traffic is mainly point-to-point, with Air India Express and IndiGo prominent and a strong Gulf/Middle East pattern alongside domestic links such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi.
