Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport CANZGGG

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) is one of South China’s key hub airports and the primary base for China Southern Airlines, with notable operations by Shenzhen Airlines, Hainan Airlines, 9 Air and FedEx on the cargo side. It is a major domestic and international gateway rather than a clean alliance hub: China Southern is no longer in a global alliance, while Star Alliance, oneworld and independent carriers are spread by airline and terminal. As of 20 June 2026, Terminal 1 is closed for renovation, so passenger operations are concentrated in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. T2 is the China Southern-heavy terminal; T3 handles many other domestic carriers plus a broad mix of regional and long-haul international airlines.
