El Dorado International Airport BOGSKBO
El Dorado International Airport (BOG) is Colombia’s primary gateway and one of South America’s most useful connection airports, with long-haul links to North America, Europe, the Caribbean and the wider region. Avianca’s main hub is here, giving Star Alliance flyers the deepest network; Copa also brings Star Alliance connectivity, while LATAM Colombia, SATENA, Clic and JetSMART add strong domestic and regional coverage. The airport works well for through-ticket connections inside Terminal 1, but terminal changes, immigration, security and Bogotá traffic make self-connects worth padding generously.
