Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is Bengaluru’s main airport and one of South India’s most important gateways. It is primarily a strong domestic and regional hub, with a meaningful international network to the Gulf, Southeast Asia, Europe and selected long-haul markets. Air India uses Bengaluru as a South India hub/secondary hub, which matters for Star Alliance connections; Air India Express, IndiGo and Akasa also have significant operations here, while Alliance Air and Star Air support regional connectivity.
