King Hussein International Airport AQJOJAQ
King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) is Aqaba’s compact international gateway and Jordan’s main scheduled civilian airport outside Amman. It is not a major hub and is not an alliance transfer complex: Royal Jordanian, a oneworld member, serves Aqaba, but its hub operation is at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman. Expect mostly point-to-point traffic: domestic links to Amman plus regional and seasonal international leisure services that can change by season. The passenger experience is simple and small-scale, with short walking distances, limited facilities, and little reason to plan an airside connection here unless your airline has explicitly sold it as one ticket.
