Abha Regional Airport AHBOEAB

Abha Regional/International Airport (AHB) is the air gateway for Abha, Khamis Mushait and Saudi Arabia’s Asir highlands. It is not a major global hub or alliance transfer complex: expect a compact regional airport with mostly domestic Saudi flying and selected short international links around the Gulf and wider Middle East. flynas has made Abha an operating base in 2026, while Saudia, flyadeal and several regional carriers also appear in the airport’s route mix; Saudia brings SkyTeam connectivity, but AHB itself should not be treated as an alliance hub. The airport is useful for point-to-point travel and simple same-terminal connections, not for complex long-haul itineraries.
