NokScoot Airlines

NokScoot Airlines (XW) was a Thailand-based low-cost, medium- and long-haul carrier operating from Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport. It was a joint venture between Nok Air and Singapore-based Scoot, and was associated with the low-cost-carrier Value Alliance rather than oneworld, Star Alliance, or SkyTeam. For travelers, the key practical point is that NokScoot entered liquidation in 2020, so XW should be treated as a former airline: there are no current NokScoot-operated flights to book or credit, and any old itinerary, ticket, or mileage question should be checked with the selling carrier or relevant travel provider rather than assumed to follow current Scoot or Nok Air rules.
