Thai AirAsia X (XJ) is the Thailand-based long-haul low-cost arm of the AirAsia group, with Bangkok Don Mueang Airport (DMK) as its operating base after the airline moved all XJ flight operations back there from 1 October 2024. It is not listed as a member of oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam, so travelers should treat AirAsia Rewards as the relevant loyalty ecosystem rather than expecting global-alliance reciprocity.
