Braathens Regional Airways
Braathens Regional Airways (IATA TF) is the Swedish Braathens operating airline behind a regional passenger and ACMI wet-lease model rather than a conventional low-cost, full-service network airline or cargo carrier. Braathens’ own site describes bases in Sweden and Denmark and positions the company as operating exclusively for other airlines, with ATR 72 turboprops used for regional capacity across Europe; public airline profiles and current coverage place its post-Bromma operation around Stockholm Arlanda, notably for SAS contract flying. Braathens itself is not listed as a member of oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance, and its current site does not present a standalone frequent-flyer program. Travelers should therefore treat the marketing carrier on the ticket, for example SAS on SAS-sold services, as the starting point for baggage, service, disruption handling and mileage-credit rules.
