Somon Air

Somon Air (SZ/SMR) is Tajikistan’s national carrier, with Dushanbe International Airport as its base airport and Khujand International Airport also operated. Its own profile describes international air transportation as the airline’s main activity, with regular flights from Tajikistan to about 25 destinations, including points in Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, Iran, India, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. For travelers, it is best understood as a Tajikistan-based regional and international passenger airline rather than a global-alliance carrier. In the sources checked, Somon Air was not listed among oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam member airlines, and its official site did not show a named frequent-flyer program.
