Saudia, also known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, is Saudi Arabia’s full-service flag carrier. It is headquartered in Jeddah, with King Abdulaziz International Airport as its main hub and additional Saudi gateways including Riyadh, Dammam and Medina. The airline is a SkyTeam member and runs the AlFursan frequent-flyer program. For travelers, SV is most relevant as a network carrier linking Saudi Arabia with domestic, regional and long-haul markets across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America, with particular importance for Jeddah and Medina travel during pilgrimage periods. It is also worth considering when you credit flights to a SkyTeam program, but eligibility and earning rules should be checked with the program used before travel.
