Santa Barbara Airlines
Santa Bárbara Airlines, later branded SBA Airlines (S3/BBR), was a Venezuelan scheduled passenger airline headquartered in Caracas, with its main base and hub at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, serving Caracas. Its network was passenger-focused rather than cargo or low-cost: sources describe scheduled domestic and international services, with later flying concentrated around Caracas-Miami before suspension. SBA was not part of a global alliance such as oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam; its relevant partnership was a commercial alliance with fellow Venezuelan carrier Aserca Airlines, and its frequent-flyer program was Privilege. The airline ceased operations in 2018, so travelers should treat it as a historical carrier for itinerary, crediting, and program-reference purposes.
