Vanilla Air

Vanilla Air (JW) was a Japan-based low-cost carrier in the ANA Group, with its base and main hub at Tokyo Narita. ANA’s official integration notice says Vanilla Air began operations from Narita in December 2013, expanded domestic and international routes, and was folded into Peach as the basis of ANA’s integrated LCC. It was not a member of oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam; public airline profiles list Vanilla Air Point as its own program, while Value Alliance sources list Vanilla Air as a former low-cost-alliance member. For travelers, the practical point is historical: there are no current Vanilla Air-operated flights to book or credit, so any itinerary, refund, disruption, or mileage question should be checked against the actual operating carrier’s current rules.
