Mango (JE/MNO) is a South African low-cost airline owned by South African Airways, with its base/main hub at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport. Mango’s own business-rescue materials state that operations have not resumed since ceasing on 27 July 2021, so travelers should treat the brand as a non-operating carrier unless new official booking channels and operating approvals are confirmed. Its network character was low-cost domestic and regional flying for business and tourism within South Africa and nearby leisure markets. I found no current membership in oneworld, Star Alliance, or SkyTeam for Mango; its historical frequent-flyer tie was with SAA Voyager rather than a Mango-run program.
