JetSMART is a Chile-based ultra-low-cost passenger airline headquartered in Santiago, with its primary base at Santiago’s Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. Its network is built around South America rather than long-haul full-service flying or cargo. JetSMART is not treated here as a member of a global alliance; its traveler-facing partnership is with American Airlines, through which JetSMART participates in the AAdvantage program for earning and redeeming miles on eligible JetSMART travel.
