MexicanaLink
MexicanaLink (I6/MXI) was a short-lived Mexican regional airline in the Mexicana group. It was based at Guadalajara International Airport, with published hubs at Cancun and Mexico City, and operated as a feeder for Mexicana and MexicanaClick on thinner markets that did not justify larger aircraft. For travelers, its alliance relevance is historical: Mexicana and its subsidiaries, including MexicanaLink, were welcomed into oneworld in 2009, and the parent airline’s frequent-flyer program was Mexicana Go. MexicanaLink ceased operations with the group on 28 August 2010, so modern booking or mileage-credit decisions should be checked against the operating carrier and current loyalty-program rules rather than this defunct brand.
