TAME
TAME (EQ/TAE) was Ecuador’s state-owned flag carrier, based in Quito, with its main hub at Mariscal Sucre International Airport. Its network was built around Ecuadorian domestic flying, with international and charter services also part of its operation. For travelers, the practical point today is that TAME is a defunct carrier: the Ecuadorian government moved to liquidate it in 2020, so it should not be considered an operating option for new trips. Historically, TAME ran its own frequent-flyer program, TAME Millas, and the sources reviewed do not place it in oneworld, Star Alliance, or SkyTeam.
