Balbirnie House
Balbirnie House is situated in the village of Markinch, Fife, approximately halfway between St. Andrews and Edinburgh. This wonderful Georgian mansion (built in 1777) is set within a 416-acre country estate and is widely recognized as one of Scotland's finest Grade A listed historic houses. All bedrooms are individually designed and come with modern amenities, including superb en-suite facilities, Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobes, direct-dial telephones, flat-screen TVs with radio, a variety of channels with pay movies, and broadband access for laptops.
