After a glittering career in the region, youthful Rémi Genot has returned to his roots in this famous wine-growing village. He pays homage to local producers and showcases fine cuts of meat prepared by his father in the next-door butchers. As comfortable working with vegetables as with fish and meat, he creates meticulous dishes, packed in colour and character. He is also skilled at juxtaposing different textures, in dishes such as tomatoes, fresh smoked goat’s cheese, rose geranium; brill, green peas, girolles, shellfish and melissa jus. Burgundy takes pride of place in the wine cellar and An
官网Set amidst vineyards, this small house and its modern extension are the HQ of local lad and chef, Jean-Christophe Moutet, former second chef to Jacques Lameloise at Chagny for over a decade. Comfortably seated in a panoramic dining room, complete with a grand piano and glazed wine cellars, Burgundy connoisseurs can sample gutsy, wholesome cuisine in tune with the seasons: wild snails flanked by cauliflower (sauce and sprigs) and smoked bacon; seared scallops, pig’s trotter, Jerusalem artichoke, gravy and truffles.
官网In this famous village on the Route des Grands Crus, this restaurant is accommodated in a former winegrower's house. Chef Jérémy Pèze treats guests to indulgent, refined and delicate cuisine: pumpkin with foie gras, endives and shiso, Bali cashews; trout from Crisenon's fish farm, spinach with citron and the fish scales smoked; Costa Rican chocolate soufflé, exotic sorbet. A relaxed atmosphere and a remarkable wine list.
官网At a remove from the village centre, right next to the train station, the former station café has been given a new lease of life by Takashi Kinoshita, who was previously to be seen in action at Château de Courban. Here, there are no frills: just an inviting, down-to-earth setting and well-executed traditional cuisine. Burgundy snails with parsley, hazelnuts and croutons, braised paleron of Charolais beef with marchand de vin sauce, blackcurrant tiramisu. Honest, flavourful dishes, with an affordable weekday lunch set menu. And, in case you were wondering, "Les Murisaltiens" are the inhabitants
官网This restaurant, whose reputation has grown by word of mouth, is fully deserving of its success. The chef is very attentive to the quality of his ingredients, most of which are locally sourced, and his creative cuisine, in which vegetables and plants play a pivotal role, is as tasty as it is balanced. Examples include a lunchtime starter of tender winter leaves, soft cheese from the Aveyron, grains and a ponzu vinaigrette. In the evening, things move up a notch with the likes of sea bass fillet from the bay of Cannes, saffron aligot, dashi broth, or veal entrecôte with a spiced jus. Fine home
官网A plush house in the centre of the village, a glass-paned wine cellar, a bar with an Art Deco look, a chic and inviting dining room: welcome to Olivier Leflaive's place! The famous Côte de Beaune winegrower has created two eateries. Le Bistro d'Olivier offers a seasonal menu inspired by local produce, and the restaurant Klima has more fine dining ambitions. Great wine list, needless to say, thanks to the estate's 80 appellations.
官网Stone walls and woven willow, exposed beams with imposing illuminated spheres and lava-topped tables, not to mention the shaded terrace overlooking the perfectly manicured garden: this restaurant combines charm and elegance! The food is as refined as the setting - a beautiful langoustine tail with butternut squash, toasted buckwheat and Bresse cream for example, or scallops from Erquy with Jerusalem artichokes and chestnuts. An enticing vegetarian menu is also available, and the superb cellar boasts over 1200 wines.
