Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) is Jakarta’s main airport and one of Indonesia’s key national gateways. For frequent flyers it functions as both a major domestic hub and an international/regional gateway: Garuda Indonesia is based here and is a SkyTeam member, Citilink is also a major operator, and Lion Air Group carriers such as Lion Air, Batik Air and Super Air Jet have a large presence. International service is strongest across Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Middle East and Australia, with selected long-haul links to Europe via carriers such as Garuda, KLM, Turkish and others. The practical rule at CGK is to know your terminal before you travel: Terminal 3 is the main full-service/international terminal and the Garuda/Citilink focus, Terminal 2 handles many low-cost and Lion Group operations plus some special-use flows, and Terminal 1 is mainly domestic.
