This lovely wine tavern may be somewhat hidden away in its pleasantly quiet location, but it is well worth seeking out – especially in summer, when the charming secluded courtyard terrace comes into its own. Along with a relaxed atmosphere with rustic charm and friendly service, diners can look forward to an array of different flammkuchen, speciality mussel dishes and regional classics. The seasonal specials of the day are written up on a wooden board or presented verbally. The restaurant has plenty of regulars and is always busy, so it's advisable to make a reservation!

An impressive cross vault, elegant dark tones, designer elements, works of art – these former stables overlooking the city and a stone's throw from the New Castle have been stylishly converted.
