菲森是前往新天鹅堡的主要门户。镇上无大型机场，需通过慕尼黑或奥格斯堡转机。市内景点集中，步行即可到达大部分酒店和主要景点。
最佳旅行季节
全年皆宜，但春秋两季气候宜人，适合徒步。冬季可结合阿尔卑斯山滑雪。夏季游客较多，建议提前预订酒店以确保护城河景观房。

Against this sensational backdrop, the Schlachter family, known for their dedication to the job and their reliably good food, serves seasonally and regionally minded cuisine at Restaurant 1250 – making it a wonderful alternative to the fine dining restaurant, PAVO. The terrace with a view in the direction of the castle and Austria is simply divine. Good to know: they also serve lunch.
