Naples International Airport (NAP) is the main airport for Naples and Campania. For frequent flyers, think of it as a busy point-to-point gateway rather than a major alliance hub: low-cost carriers such as easyJet, Ryanair, Volotea and Wizz Air have a strong base/focus presence, while full-service and seasonal long-haul services add links beyond the core European and Mediterranean network. The airport is compact and close to the city, which makes arrivals and departures efficient, but it is not built around complex hub connections. Most transfers are simple only when protected on one ticket; separate-ticket self-transfers should allow time for baggage reclaim, landside check-in, security and, where relevant, passport control. There is one main passenger terminal, a straightforward Alibus link to Napoli Centrale and the port, one main third-party lounge, and no true airside hotel. Also note the terminal night closure window, so very early or overnight itineraries need planning.
