Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) is Mumbai’s main airport and one of India’s key international gateways. For frequent flyers it works as both a long-haul/international gateway and a dense domestic trunk-route airport. Air India treats Mumbai as a secondary hub, with Star Alliance connectivity through Air India and partners; IndiGo, Akasa Air, SpiceJet and Air India Express are also major operators, but some airlines use different terminals by route, so check the flight-specific terminal rather than relying on the airline name alone.
